The Office of Transformation, Strategic Planning and Risk is divided into several sections as follows:


ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT

ADMINISTRATIVE SECTION

  • Manage basic human resource affairs – training and competency, leave and others.
  • Manage departmental files.
  • Manage store and inventory.
  • Manage the customer service department.
  • Manage meeting and workshop requirements.
  • Manage departmental management meetings.
  • Manage the security affairs of the department.

FINANCE SECTION

  • Manage TSR’s financial affairs.
  • Manage procurement/supply and departmental services
  • Manage, maintain and dispose of departmental assets
  • Manage the disposal of departmental assets.
  • Manage the allocation and performance of the department’s expenses.
  • Manage the allocation and performance of the department’s expenses

RISK MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGIC PLANNING SECTION

RISK MANAGEMENT SECTION

  • Acting as an intermediary for the Risk Management Committee Meeting (JKPR) at PTj level.
  • Develop and operate a Risk Management System (SRMS).
  • Conducting a series of workshops with PTj for the process of preparing and refining risk reports/registers.
  • Ensure risk assessment reports are updated and available as supporting documents for ISO/ISMS certification.
  • Coordinate and monitor the risk register along with the implementation of additional controls to reduce risk and provide development reports to relevant parties.
  • Prepare reports to be presented in the University Management Meeting (MPU)/ Audit and Risk Management Committee (JKPAR).
  • Regulating the implementation of the Risk Management Framework as well as the Risk Management Policy.
  • Manage and implement the risk assessment or audit process based on ACA’s annual plan/meeting minute instructions/applications from PTj involved.
  • Manage and conduct risk assessment and service impact analysis.
  • Coordinate and monitor the risk register along with the implementation of additional controls to reduce risk and provide development reports to relevant parties.
  • Prepare reports to be presented in the University Management Meeting (MPU)/Audit and Risk Management Committee (JKPAR).

STRATEGIC PLANNING SECTION

  • Coordinate the development of the UMT Strategic Plan document (PSUMT)
  • Providing international university ranking reports such as Times Higher Education (THE), Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), UI GreenMetric and others
  • Provide university rating results reports for the MyMohes, SETARA and MyRA systems
  • Prepare Outcome Based Budgeting (OBB), 12th RM, and Cabinet Memorandum (MJM) reports.
  • Prepare a report on the results of the analysis of the achievement of PTj’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Acting as the secretariat for the JK parent University Ranking and Strategy (JKPSI) and the University Ranking Strategy Committee (JKPSU).

DATA MANAGEMENT SECTION

ANALYTICAL DATA SECTION

  • Provides MyRA, SETARA and OBB targets
  • Perform PTj and university data analysis for KPI monitoring purposes
  • Carry out an analysis of university rankings and rankings at the international and local levels.
  • Periodically forecast PTj and university performance
  • Provide the results of data analysis and forecasting for the purpose of guiding the decision-making process by the university management
  • Develop an organized and comprehensive university data management policy

DATA SECTION

  • Coordinating the university’s data collection activities with the data coordinator at PTj
  • Implement structured university data management to meet the university’s strategic agenda
  • Managing the transmission of data to the relevant parties (THE, QS, UI GreenMetric) and others for the purpose of university ranking
  • Managing the transmission of data to the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education for the needs of MyMohes, SETARA and MyRA for the purpose of ranking universities at the local level
  • Coordinating data collection activities for the purpose of OBB and 12th RM reporting to KPT
  • Coordinate data collection activities for PSUMT requirements and reporting of Research, Teaching and Services (RTS) achievements
